Credit Union of the Rockies employees from every branch and our corporate office participated in a hands-on volunteer project for TreeTop Child Advocacy Center. Together, our teams dedicated time to hand-stuff stuffed animals that will serve as comfort items for children during their visits to TreeTop.
Each animal was intentionally assembled without its heart and certificate, allowing the children to complete those pieces themselves. This thoughtful detail gives each child the opportunity to personalize their animal and make it truly their own, offering a sense of comfort, ownership, and care during a difficult time.
TreeTop Child Advocacy Center is a nonprofit organization that provides trauma-informed support , including forensic interviews, advocacy, and healing services for children who have experienced abuse or significant trauma. Their works plays a vital role in helping children and families navigate challenging circumstances with compassion and dignity.
Our team recently delivered the completed animals to TreeTop as a surprise. The TreeTop team shared their heartfelt appreciation for the time, care, and compassion our employees put into this meaningful project.
At Credit Union of the Rockies, we are proud to support organizations like TreeTop and remain committed to serving and strengthening the communities where we live and work.
