How to Refer a Friend to Our Credit Union

Step 1 – Spread the Word

Share your CUR story and let your friends and family know about our referral program.

Step 2 - Provide Your Referral Information

Step 3 - We'll Reach Out to Your Friend

A CUR representative will reach out to your friend within 1 business day of receiving their information and discuss the next steps to becoming a member.

Step 4 - Get rewarded!

Once your friend has met the qualification requirements listed below, you will both be rewarded!

  • Option One –$75* for you, $50** for your friend

    1. Open a new savings and checking account.
    2. Obtain a debit card and complete a minimum of 15 transactions within 90 days of account opening.
    3. $75 will be deposited into your account, and $50 will be deposited into your friend’s account.

  • Option Two - $75* for you, $50** for your friend

    1. Open a new savings account.
    2. Deposit a minimum of $5,000 of new money into a CD.
    3. $75 will be deposited into your account, and $50 will be deposited into your friend’s account.

  • Option Three - $150* for you, $100** for your friend

    1. If your friend completes all the steps mentioned above, they will receive $100, and you will receive $150!

*Existing Member: Membership and account qualifications apply. Must be 18 or older to qualify. You are eligible for the $75 reward if your referral: 1) becomes a new member; 2) meets membership and account qualifications; 3) opens a new Credit Union of the Rockies savings and checking account; 4) obtains a Credit Union of the Rockies Visa debit card and completes a minimum of fifteen (15) transactions within the first 90 days of account opening; and 5) keeps the new checking and savings accounts open for at least 90 days OR if they: 1) become a new member; 2) meet membership and account qualifications; 3) open a new Credit Union of the Rockies savings account; 4) deposit a minimum of $5,000 of new money into a Certificate of Deposit; and 5) keep the new savings account open for at least 90 days. You are eligible for the $150 reward if your referral completes all the terms mentioned above. Account must be in good standing. Reward is tax reportable. See a tax professional for tax advice. Please allow 2 business days upon completion of the reward requirements to receive the deposit into your primary Credit Union of the Rockies savings account. Cannot be combined with other offers or used for an existing account. Offer may be modified or withdrawn at any time at Credit Union of the Rockies’ sole discretion.
