If your business or organization is composed, for the most part, of the same general groups as the credit union membership (live, work, or worship in one of our counties, are employed by one of our employer groups, are related to a member, etc.) then your business or organization is eligible for an account at Credit Union of the Rockies.

What You’ll Need to Open a Business Account

When opening a business or organization account at Credit Union of the Rockies, we are required by law to verify information about your business as well as the individuals that are associated with your business or organization.  All the owners, partners, and/or key executives/directors of your business or organization must be present for your in-branch appointment to open a new account.

You will be asked to provide the following documentation at the time of your account opening appointment:

Documentation from the IRS that verifies the Employer Identification Number (EIN) assigned to your business or organization.

Proof of your business/organization’s physical address, if different from the address listed on your business verification document(s)

The following registration documents from the Colorado Secretary of State’s office, based on the legal structure of your business or organization:

Sole Proprietorships

Partnerships

Corporation

Limited Liability Company (LLC)

Non-Profit

Social/Recreational Club, Unincorporated Association,
Informal Non-Profit, Civic Group
