Foreign transactions, or transactions initiated in foreign countries and/or foreign currencies will incur a foreign transaction fee of 1.00% of the final settlement amount.  For transactions occurring in foreign countries and initiated in US Dollars, a foreign transaction fee of 0.80% of the final settlement amount will be assessed.  Transactions initiated via the internet with merchants or other parties located outside of the United States of America are deemed to occur in the foreign country where the merchant or other party is located.
